Accuracy depends on recording quality, language and speech clarity. Echo, clipping, distant microphones, noise and music can reduce accuracy. We do not guarantee a fixed percentage. Recording-quality warnings are estimates; review captions, names, numbers and timing before publishing.

Optional browser cleanup reduces noise and balances level on your device without consuming transcription minutes. It supports clips up to 20 minutes and does not reliably remove echo or background music. Compare Original and Enhanced playback, then generate captions with the selected version. Video exports keep original audio. Saved enhancement stays on this device; clearing browser storage removes it.

A .gcap file is Gradian’s own caption format. It keeps your words, when each one is spoken, the caption preset, fonts, colours and placement, so captions look the same when they move to your editor. Exporting .gcap is included from Creator up. Plugins for DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Pro are coming soon.

Free includes caption editing and word-level timing, the Free caption presets, watermark-free exports, and 5 transcription minutes per month. Sign in to use account-based transcription. Available export formats and speed depend on your browser and device.

It measures submitted audio, including silence, with a minimum of 10 seconds per processing request. Audio is processed in chunks. Submitting the same audio again uses allowance again; a submitted request may still count if the provider times out. Manual caption edits and local exports do not consume minutes.

Usage resets by UTC calendar month. Annual subscriptions still receive a monthly allowance; unused minutes do not roll over.

We detect your region when possible and ask our billing provider for a price in your local currency. Prices are lower where local purchasing power is lower, so what you pay in India, for example, is well below the US price. Displayed plan prices exclude tax; checkout confirms the final amount using your billing details.

Studio unlocks the motion-graphic caption presets and includes 240 transcription minutes each month, twice Creator’s allowance. It is the middle option for one editor publishing regularly.

Both have the same editing tools as Studio and differ in transcription time: Studio has 240 minutes a month, Studio Pro 480 and Studio Max 1,000. Each plan is for one editor; there are no team seats or bulk video-caption jobs yet.

Paid plans renew at your selected interval. Review the billing and refund terms before subscribing. Contact support for help with cancellation or an existing payment.

Further transcription is limited until your monthly allowance resets or you upgrade. Transcription also has shared service capacity limits and may ask you to try again later during busy periods. Your existing captions and local tools remain available.

Start from a small base with the Free presets and 30 transcription minutes, then add only the preset packs you want (Styled, Everyday styles or Motion graphics) and up to 1,200 minutes a month. It bills monthly and you can change it anytime. The fixed plans stay the best value when you need most of the packs.
